At Aura Accommodation, we collect, and securely store personal information from you, including information about your:

full name
contact details including email address and mobile phone
home address
payment details

We collect your personal information in order to:

ensure we can provide an exception guest experience
can accept future reservations and streamline payment
ensure you are informed of all relevant information

Providing some information is optional. However, if you choose not to enter your payment details, we’ll be unable to accept your reservation. Should you choose not to enter relevant contact information we’ll be unable to provide them with the full accommodation service.

We keep your information safe by storing it on our secure property management systems and only allowing staff with specific log ins to access the information. Our property management systems are all PCI compliant and are listed below;

Preno – Property Management Software
Siteminder – Channel Management Software
Braintree – Payment Gateway
Xero – Accounting Software
Mailchimp – Email Marketing Platform

We keep your information for 4 years from your last stay with us at which point we securely destroy it by removing it from our property management system.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at info@aurarotorua.co.nz, or 0800 333 799.
